Silicate - An Ancestry for Draw Steel!

Native to the Infinite Desert, the silicate are living aggregates of sand. This allows them to transition between a packed form as dense as the dwarves of Orden and a flowing form akin to shifting sand dunes. They coexist peacefully with the Khem-hor people of Khemhara. 

Silicate are unique in that their memories are stored and distributed throughout their body in their component sand grains. This leads many to possess great powers of recall, though they tend to remember places better than people. Also, those who have suffered significant erosion naturally or through battle may appear to be absent-minded or confused at times depending on the extent.
